Huawei officially announced the Enjoy 20 and Enjoy 20 Plus 5G smartphones. These two new devices will cater the budget-oriented crowd. The plus variant as you can see in the depicted pictures comes with a clean, cutout-less design boasting 92 percent screen to body ratio. The non-plus vanilla variant however comes with a waterdrop notch and follows the iPhone 11-series camera design on the rear side.

The handset is equipped with a 6.63″ IPS LCD panel with 1080 x 2400px resolution (20:9). You’ll also get the trending 90Hz refresh rate and the 16MP selfie sensor (f/2.0) which pops up.
Under the hood there resides the MediaTek’s new mid-range 5G chipset – Dimensity 720 which is aided with 6 or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of on-board storage. You can expand the storage up to 256GB via Huawei’s NMcards.
The rear panel houses the triple camera setup with 48MP sensor as the primary one (f/1.8). There’s an 8MP ultrawide module (f/2.4) and a dedicated 2MP macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
To keep the lights of the device on the company has embedded a decent 4,200mAh of battery (40W fast charging). Android 10.1 comes pre-installed on top of Huawei’s EMUI 10.1 skin.
Everybody’s favorite 3.5mm audio jack is also there. For security the company has embedded a fingerprint reader located on the side of the phone.
Black, Gradient Blue, Forest Green and Pink are the color options to choose from. As far as the pricing goes the 6GB RAM variant will cost you around CNY 2,299 ($335) and for the 8GB variant you need to pay CNY 200 ($30) more.

The lower-end vanilla variant features the same display size of 6.6″ IPS LCD but offers a lower resolution of 720 x 1600px. The refresh rate on this is also lowered down to 60Hz.
But you get the same Dimensity 720 processor under the hood with 4GB and 6GB RAM options to choose from. On the board you’ll get 128GB of storage and an option to expand the storage up to 512GB via the standard microSD card.
On the rear side you will get to see the 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 5MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 and the 2MP macro sensor with 4cm fixed focus distance. The front side you will get to see the notch which houses for the 8MP f/2.0 camera.
Interestingly this vanilla variant comes with a hefty battery pack of size 5,000mAh but supports for only 10W charging. You get the same side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Black, Gold, Green and Pink are the color options to choose from. As far as the pricing goes the 4GB RAM variant comes with a price tag of CNY 1,699 ($250) whereas the 6GB RAM will sell for CNY 1,899 ($280).
Both the newly launched mid-range smartphones are available for pre-order. However, the actual sale will commence from September 10. Currently, the device is only limited to the China region only. We hope company will soon disclose the plans for the global roll out as well.
