In the early hours of morning today, Vivo silently unveiled the new 5G smartphone in China dubbed as – Vivo Y51s 5G. The smartphone flaunts a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display with 90.72% screen-to-body ratio. This new smartphone is powered by Samsung Exynos 880 SoC with built-in SA & NSA dual-mode 5G.
The Vivo Y51s 5G is equipped with 90mm liquid-cooled heat dissipation heat pipes and multi-layer PGS graphite heat sinks combined with thermally conductive gel. The company claims it will help in reducing the temperature up to 10° C.
As we mentioned above the phone is powered by Exynos 880 processor and is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB, UFS2.1 on-board storage.
Camera department for this device includes a triple rear camera setup. It comprises a 48-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel depth and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
Following the trend, the front side has the famous punch hole camera set up which is a 8-megapixel sensor.
For security, the company has embedded a fingerprint reader which is located at the side of the phone. You can also use face recognition to wake up the phone.
To keep the lights of the device on, the company has embedded a 4,500mAh battery. It charges over microUSB and supports 18W dual-engine fast charging.
Connectivity for this device includes 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS, micro USB port.
The Vivo Y51S 5G comes in three different color variants including the Secret Realm Black, Snow Feather White and Bihailan. The phone carries a price tag of 1798 yuan ( US$ 256 / Rs. 19,175 approx.). It will go on sale in China from July 29.
