Xiaomi today in an online-only event officially it’s first smartphone with Periscope Shooter dubbed as – Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth (5G). The handset came up with features like 50x zoom, Snapdragon 765G processor, huge battery pack up at a very interesting price.
The display of the device is built around the 6.57″ AMOLED panel which comes with the under-the-display fingerprint scanner. The screen has FullHD+ resolution and supports 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The front camera lives in a notch located at the top of the screen. It houses for the 16-megapixel sensor which as company claims produces beautiful selfies.
The rear camera department boasts a quad-camera setup which includes the all new 8MP telephoto camera (with a periscope lens). The latter one can allow the user to zoom up to 5x optical zoom and 50x hybrid zoom. The lens also supports for OIS, but no aperture details have come yet.
The other sensors consists of a 48MP primary lens (with f/1.8. 1/2″ sensor), an 8 MP ultrawide snapper with 120-degree FoV and f/2.2 lens in front, and a 2 MP macro shooter with 2-10 cm focusing distance.
You can record video up to 4K@30 fps and the slow-motion videos in 720p at 960 fps.
To keep the lights of the device on, the company has embedded a decent 4,160mAh of battery which come with 22.5W fast-charging support over PD.
Android 10 comes pre-installed out of the box on top of MIUI 11. The handset will get the latest MIUI 12 with the future updates.
Price & Availability
Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth comes in five different color variants including the Blue, White, Black, Green, and Orange/Peach. As far as the pricing goes the price will start from CNY2,099 ($300/€275) for the 6/64 GB version and goes up to CNY2,799 ($400/€365) for the 8/256 GB option.
Pre-order of the device has already begun with actual sale to commence from May 4.
