Oppo A52 Officially Unveiled With Quad Camera Setup, SD665, Humongous Battery And More


Oppo has unveiled yet another budget-oriented mid-ranger smartphone dubbed as Oppo A52. In the early hours of morning today in China, the company lifted the veil of the handset with a quad-camera setup, Snapdragon 665 chipset and a huge 5,000 mAh battery packup.

As you can see in the depicted pictures, the front of the device looks premium. It flaunts a 6.5-inch LCD panel (FHD+ resolution) and a punch-hole cut out which houses for the 8MP selfie sensor. For the security purpose the company indeed has embedded a fingerprint sensor which is located on the side button.

The rear side of the unit you’ll see a L-shaped quad-camera setup which houses for the 12MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and two 2MP modules – one for macro photography and one for depth data.

The device is fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 processor which is aided with 8gigs of RAM and 128gigs of on-board storage. The phone has the huge battery pack up of size 5,000mAh which supports for 18W charging.

Android 10 comes pre-installed out of the box with company’s own ColorOS 7.1 on top of it. Black and Blue are the two color options to choose from. The device carries a price tag of CNY 1,599 ( which according to current transaction rates translates into $225/INR 17,300). No information on when the unit will leave it’s homeland has come yet.
