The Google Search app just received a new update – brings a new shortcut to open an incognito tab in Chrome.
Earlier when somebody wishes to use the incognito search mode, they have to sign out of all the accounts, but now with the update you’ll see a New Chrome incognito tab. You just have to tap on that shortcut tab and it will launch a new Chrome incognito tab.
So now you can perform your search without it being associated with your Google search history. Moreover, after the search, if you click on any link, it will not be added to your Chrome browsing history – that’s what makes this different from the previous version.
Currently, the update isn’t available for everyone. But we expect this update to reach every unit soon.
