We all know Sony always does something different, this time they skipped on a high refresh rate screen and instead they went to implement Motion Blur Reduction. And as per the reports suggests, it matches the refresh rate of a 90Hz display screen. It does so by analyzing what’s on the screen and adjusting individual frames to reduces frame lag.
The Xperia One Mark Two boasts a revamped three-camera setup, which as you can see in the depicted pictures is now positioned on the left side of the rear panel. The setup includes – 12MP main + 12MP ultrawide + 12MP telephoto sensors. The megapixel counts are the same as that of the predecessor, but the Xperia 1 II comes with bigger sensors and faster lenses and this time are calibrated by the ZEISS branding.
On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor that houses in the top bezel of the unit.
The Japanese company’s new smartphone comes with the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset, competes with the 5G modem that works on Sub 6 GHz networks. The chipset is coupled with 8gigs of RAM and 256gigs of UFS storage.
To keep the lights of the device on, the company has embedded a decent 4,000mAh of battery. It has support for wireless charging.
Android 10 comes pre-installed out of the box. The phone is rated IP65/IP68 for water and dust protection. It’s nice to see that the company has brought back the 3.5mm audio jack which is now a rare thing to see. For security, Sony has embedded a fingerprint reader on the right side of the phone.
