A few days back at an event in London, Carl Pei officially announced the OnePlus 7T Pro. The new device brings typical upgrades that one might expect from a T-phone, but alongside the company also unveiled a special McLaren Edition.
Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 855+ chipset, which has a higher clock speed than the predecessor. And thanks to that, it promises 15 percent higher graphic performance. The processor is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage (UFS 3.0).
If this memory configuration isn’t sufficient, you can go for McLaren Edition, as it has a whooping 12gigs of RAM.
The other major improvement is in the battery section, it now supports Warp Charge 30T. This new tech charges 23 percent faster than the one we’ve seen on the OnePlus 7.
There isn’t much change in the camera department, the selfie cam remains unchanged. Though, the triple camera on the rear side doges brings a new feature – the macro mode, inherited from the 7T. The new pro variant boasts a longer focal length on its zoom camera (3x over the main cam) as well as OIS.
The McLaren Edition, as we mentioned above is aided with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. And as you can see in the depicted pictures this new edition has symmetrical wood grain appearance and papaya yellow around the sides.
Moreover, you’ll also get a soft Alcantara case – a material known in the automotive universe.
Bot the variants will come with OxygenOS10 pre-installed based on Android 10.
