Adam Mosseri, Head of Instagram, via a tweet on Twitter – source link provided below – shared that the photo-sharing app now supports the dark mode for its interface.
The feature was live for quite some time now but was only available for beta users, but now the company has started rolling out the feature for the other users as well. Currently, the feature is live only on the units running either on iOS 13 or on Android 10 platforms.
It’s also come to hear that the phones running on Android 9 with system-wide dark mode also support this feature.
And to trigger the dark mode, you only have to toggle the dark theme in the device settings menu. We hope we’d be able to change this from the Instagram app’s setting menu in future updates.
