We all are well aware of Google’s Chrome Browser Game dubbed as Trex. It is a running dinosaur game which appears on your screen when your network isn’t working. Prior to today, we thought that was the only secret hidden game that we didn’t know about. But it seems the Google still has tricks up its sleeves.
As per the report from the below source suggests, there’s a full-text adventure hidden within Google.com and is available to anyone who has an internet connection (unlike the Trex game) and knows the trick can find it.
So what’s the trick?
The game is available on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Sadly, safari missed out this one.
Using the eligible browser of your choice, Google the text “text adventure”.
You’ll be presented with a list of search – as you might have with any search. Now right click on the page and click “Inspect” (shortcut Ctrl+Shift+I) and pop up window will appear then select the “Console” tab.
“Would you like to play a game” with the option to revert with “Yes/No”
Type Yes and enter and you’ll embark upon a light-hearted adventure as you explore the Google campus trying to find the letters of the company’s name.
The controls of the game are pretty simple, you just have to give commands to progress as you did to begin the game.
Typing “north,” “south,” “east,” or “west” will move you through the world, while other commands like “grab” and “use” will let you interact with items in the world.
It’s an easy and addictive game.
