The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 users in the Baltic region, Romania, Slovakia, Luxembourg, and Bulgaria have reported that they are getting an over-the-air firmware update. Arriving in with firmware version N960FXXS2ARH6, the update brings September 2018 security patch along with it.
The update comes in at 72MB in size and brings fixes to some vulnerabilities which include nine critical security issues and 18 additional ones for Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items.
The changelog of the update also mentions stability improvements and bug fixes along with new features.
Currently, the update is only hitting the units in the aforementioned countries. Those who are impatient can manually try for the update or can use a VPN from one of the countries.
