Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Rolling Out With A New Firmware Update – Brings AR Emoji and Super Slow-Motion


Samsung Galaxy Note 8 – last year’s flagship device – have started receiving a new firmware update. The update brings the long-awaited AR Emoji and Super Slow-Motion camera feature to the device.

Arriving in with firmware version number N950FXXU5CRHA, the update also brings the latest Android security patch. Weighing in at around 711.91MB in size, it also brings bug fixes and stability improvements.

Currently, the update is hitting the units in France, with other regions to follow soon.

As usual, the update is rolling over-the-air, so it may take time to reach every unit. Meanwhile, you can head over to the Setting’s menu of your device to check manually for the update.


Before downloading the update make sure your device is charged up to 80 percent and to avoid any data loss make sure it’s connected to a Wi-Fi connection.
