OnePlus is one of those OEM’s who have started pushing out the Android Pie update to its devices. At the beginning of this month, OnePlus rolled out the latest operating system update for its this year’s flagship smartphone – OnePlus 6.
The update brought a brand new user interface, Android P gestures, system improvements, and some integrated OnePlus customization features as well.
And with the OnePlus 6T launch is imminent, it’s nice to see that the company hasn’t forgotten about its previous smartphones. Both OnePlus 3 and 3T have started receiving the OxygenOS 5.0.6 update.
The update brings the latest security fixes for the month of September with it with fixes to existing bugs.
- Updated Android security patch to 2018.9
- General bug fixes and improvements
As usual, the update is rolling over-the-air and will take time to reach every unit. Meanwhile, you can head over to the Setting’s menu of your device to manually check for the update.
Before downloading for the update make sure your device is charged up to 50 percent and is connected to a decent internet connection.
