The long-awaited Android Oreo update for Moto G5 and G5 Plus users have finally started rolling out. Although, Google has released the Android Pie for its Pixel devices and other OEM’s have also revealed the devices that will be getting the new update. There are still some devices which haven’t yet received the Oreo.
Currently, the Oreo update is only hitting the Mexican units of Moto G5 and G5 Plus users in India and Brazil. Even in these countries, the update is rolling out in phases. The other regions will also get the update says the Motorola, but they didn’t tell the exact timeframe.
The update, as usual, is rolling over-the-air, so even the users in Mexico, India, and Brazil have to be patient. Meanwhile, you can head over to the Setting’s menu to manually check for the update.
