Google has shared the latest Android distribution numbers and there’s no sign of Pie. For those who don’t know any version with less than 0.1% distribution is not shown.
According to these latest number, Oreo has reached a new height – sits at 19.2 percent of the distribution, an increase of 4.6 percentage. Nougat – 2016 version of Android – still dominates the platform with a combined 29.3% ( down from last month’s 30.8%).
Marshmallow is at second place with 21.6 percent share and Lollipop still covers a whopping 18.3% of devices.
Oreo is doing really good comparing to the Nougat’s share in its first year. We do believe as OEM’s starts rolling out the Pie update for their perspective devices the numbers for Pie is bound to increase.
