Google lately revealed the name of the freshest slice of Android – Android Pie. Since then, OEM’s have started revealing the list of devices which will be getting this latest flavor update. Google’s pixel and Essential devices have already started receiving the notification to download the newest update.
And now HTC and Sony have also confirmed the list of devices which will soon be rolling out with the Android Pie update.
HTC
HTC via a tweet on Twitter officially confirmed the devices which will be getting the Android Pie update. The list also includes HTC U11 which came in 2017 with Nougat pre-installed out of the box.
We're pleased as pie to confirm updates to Android Pie for the HTC U12+, U11+, U11, and U11 life (Android One). Timeframes for roll-out will be announced in due course.

List of the devices includes:
- HTC U12+
- HTC U11+
- HTC U11
- HTC U11 life (Android One)
Sadly, HTC 10 was not listed. But the device has already been updated to Oreo, considering the fact that it was launched running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). So, no Pie for HTC 10 users.
No exact time frame for the rollout has been revealed. We will let you guys know as soon as we hear a word.
Sony
Sony has also announced the list of devices which will get the latest Android version update. There are 6 devices which will be getting the update starting from September to November 2018.
List of the devices includes:
- Sony Xperia XZ2
- Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact
- Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium
- Xperia XZ1
- Xperia XZ1 Compact
- Xperia XZ Premium
HMD, OPPO, vivo, and OnePlus are also expected to soon join the list of manufacturers with this new system.
