Last month Oppo officially unveiled yet another budget-friendly smartphone dubbed as Oppo F5 Youth. It’s a mid-range version of companies flagship device F5. The F5 Youth came up with the same 6” 18:9 display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and a downgraded camera setup. At the time of launching the device was only available in the Philippines. But now the device will be available for purchase in India as well.
The device powers MediaTek Helio P23 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage which can further be expanded via microSD card. Camera section for this device includes a 13MP rear sensor (F/2.2 lens) and a 16MP imager on the front with faster F/2.0 aperture.
Android 7.1 Nougat comes pre-installed with ColorOS 3.2 on top of it. To keep the device running company has embedded a decent 3,200 mAh battery. For security, there’s a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and the device also supports Face unlock feature.
The device came up with a price tag of ₹16,990 which according to current transaction rates translates into $265. You will be able to purchase this affordable smartphone through both online and offline channels.
