A new firmware update has started hitting the unlocked variant of LG V30 (H930). The update brings latest Android Security Patch along with few bug fixes. The software version of the update is v10v-EUR-XX and the build number is N2G47H.
The update weighs in at 500MB in size and will bring Android Security Update for the month of November. Aside from this, the update will also improve the usability and functionality of the phone.
This update is based on Android Nougat, but the South Korean company is testing the Oreo Update for the device. The first beta update is already available in the Korea. And those who want to try the new software can sign up for the beta program.
As usual, it’s an over-the-air update will take time to reach every unit so be patient. Meanwhile, you can head over to the Setting’s menu of your device to manually check for the update.
To avoid any extra data charges make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi connection.
