OnePlus Pushed Out OxygenOS 5.0 (Android O) OTA For 3 And 3T Units

OnePlus has finally started pushing out the highly-anticipated Android 8.0 Oreo update to its last year’s flagship smartphones – OnePlus 3 and 3T. A couple of months back when OnePlus rolls out the beta version of Android Oreo update for its OnePlus 3 users they promised to make the update available to everyone before the end of this year. And now keeping its word company has started seeding the update to both 3 and 3T units.

As usual, it’s an over-the-air update will roll out gradually so be patient. Meanwhile, you can head over to the Setting’s menu of your device to manually check for the update. Before downloading the update make sure your device is charged up to 80 percent and is connected to a decent internet connection.

  • Update to Android O (8.0);
  • Added Parallel Apps;
  • Added Picture in Picture;
  • Added Auto-fill;
  • Added Smart text selection;
  • New Quick Settings design;
  • Updated security patch to September.

  • Added notification dots;
  • New app folder design;
  • Now able to upload photos directly to Shot on OnePlus.
