As we mentioned above this new version of Windows is streamlined for the entry-level computers with lower hardware requirements and smaller install size. As per the reports from the below source suggests this will take only 15 seconds to boot- which is quite fast than that of Windows 10 Pro.

The one major feature which distinguish Windows 10 S and Pro is that this new student oriented version will only run applications from the Windows Store.

The new education sector PCs will go on sale starting this sale and the price for these computers will start from $189. Along with this you’ll also get a free subscription to Minecraft: Education Edition and free Microsoft Office 365 for Education with Microsoft Teams.
Schools which are currently running Genuine Windows Pro PCs will get the new Windows 10 S update for free.
