LG G6 Goes Official – Packs Android Nougat, Dual Camera Setup, 5.7″ Display

The widely teased LG G6 is finally official. Today at MWC 2017, LG officially took wraps off its highly awaited G-series smartphone, the LG G6. It’s a drastic departure from previous LG flagships, as the new smartphone launched with 18:9 display, a bigger display with smaller design having 70% percent of body to display ration.

Technical Specifications: Firstly lets talk about what the device houses- the G6 packs a 5.7-inch QHD+ display (slightly larger than 5.3-inches G5 ) with the resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and stands out at 564 pixels per inch. As we mentioned above the phone came with an unusual 18:9 display and a quad-DAC system that we’ve already seen in last year’s LG V20.

Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 821 processor along with 4 gigs of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of storage option. To keep the lights of the device on company has embedded a decent battery of 3,300mAh.

Camera section includes a dual camera setup on the rear side 13MP + 13MP and 5MP wide camera on the front side. The Dual-camera consists 13-megapixel shooters with 125-degree viewing angle and F2.4 aperture). Other features include Optical image stabilization, Autofocus, CMOS image sensor.

The device measures in at 148.9×71.9X7.9 mm and weighs 163 grams. Moreover the LG G6 is IP 28 certified, that means it is both water and dust proof. The device will be come in three different color options including Ice Platinum / Mystic White / Astro Black.
