Just few hours ago Samsung Electronics officially announced the Galaxy Camera 2 just few days ahead of CES 2014. Galaxy Camera 2 features includes a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear Touch LCD Screen, 16.3 MP sensor which has capability to shoot a maximum of 21x optical zoom.
“Consumers love the Galaxy Camera, and this next-generation version was designed to improve on the successful predecessor, with upgraded and new features that will enhance the photography experience,” said Myoung Sup Han, Executive Vice President and Head of the Imaging Business Team at Samsung Electronics.
Under the hood there’s a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS on the board. The Galaxy Camera 2 is lighter (238g) than its predecessor and measures 132.5 x 71.2 x 19.3 mm. Its connectivity option includes: Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi HT40, GPS, GLONASS.
Galaxy Camera 2 comes with pre-loaded Dropbox app with 50GB of free cloud storage for up to two years. Additionally its features also includes a S Voice, Smart Mode Suggest, New Smart Mode Selfie Alarm for self-portraits, Multi Motion Video and more.
