Back in 2016, Google announced a new smart messaging app – Allo which came with very intuitive features. One of the highlighting feature was the ‘Smart Reply’ which will let you type less by generating responses tailored to your most common responses.
Until now the ‘Smart Reply’ feature was only available in Google Allo, Inbox, and Gmail.
And now as per the latest report from the Android Police suggests – link provided below – Google is working on a ‘Reply’ app to bring it to the third-party messaging apps. What does this mean is popular messaging apps including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and WeChat would soon be able to offer contextually suggestive answers like on Allo and Inbox by Gmail.
A reader over at Android Police sent an email from a department of Google’s that tests experimental products. A sign-up form was also included to test this new app.
The above-depicted picture shows a few features of the Reply app. As you can see it even shows smarter replies in the notification area – so that you can instantly respond to the messages.
Other things to try:
- Do Not Disturb. When you’re driving, Reply can silence your phone and tell people who message you that you can’t chat right now
- Don’t miss the important stuff. When you get an urgent message like “We’re waiting for you!” Reply can make sure to get your attention even when your phone is silent.
- Vacation responder. Reply can check your calendar and tell people if you’re not working.
- Your Favorite Chat Apps: Reply works with Hangouts, Allo, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Android Messages, Skype, Twitter DMs, and Slack.
We have provided the sign-up form below so those who are interested for more details can head over to the below link provided to receive more information.
