Xiaomi Pushed Out New Android Oreo Update For Mi A1


Last week Xiaomi pushed out the long-awaited Oreo update for the Mi A1 users but due to some nasty bugs, the update was pulled. And now the company has started seeding a new update which brings fixes to all bugs, installs latest Android Security Patch and Android Oreo.

  • App is running in background notification

This new update brings January Security Patch which is the latest any company can offer. If you have installed the buggy Oreo update then the new version is a small 89MB download. But if you are one of those who is still on Nougat, then there’s more sustainable update for you – a 1,112MB update.

As usual, the update will be rolling over-the-air will take time to reach every unit. Those who are impatient can head over to the Setting’s menu of your device to manually check for the update.


Before downloading the update make sure your device is charged up to 80 percent and to avoid any extra data losses make sure it is connected to a decent internet connection.
