OnePlus 5 Starts Receiving The OxygenOS Open Beta 3 Update – Brings Face Unlock Feature


OnePlus starts pushing out the OxygenOS Open Beta 3 update for OnePlus 5 users. The highlight of this update is that it brings face unlock feature which was not included in the phone’s Oreo update.

The update weighs in at around 1.58GB in size and aside from face unlock feature the update brings fixes to bugs – resolve issues with 5GHz Wi-Fi connections and vibrations, system improvements and the latest December Security patch.

Those who have already enrolled in company’s open beta program might have received the notification to download the update. If you haven’t received it yet, then don’t get panic OTA’s usually take time to reach every unit.
