As per the latest report from the below source suggests, OnePlus will bring the Face Unlock feature to the 3 and 3T units in next open beta build. The CEO Carl Pei confirmed this in an interview with CNET at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show, along with this he also confirmed that the next flagship smartphone will see it’s release by the end of Q2.
“There’s no reason to withhold features we can easily implement,” – Pei said.

OnePlus introduced the Face Unlock feature alongside 5T – first device from the company to feature such tech. Lately, OnePlus 5 also received this feature and now 2016 flagship smartphones will get this feature soon.
