Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus units in Canada have started receiving the November Security Update. All the major carriers have started pushing out the update although it’s a bit late, with December already underway.
The update along with the latest Android Security Patch also brings fixes for the KRACK Wi-Fi Exploit. This firmware update addresses 61 Android vulnerabilities and apart from the security features, the update also brings the fix for Bluetooth connectivity.
As usual, its an over-the-air update will take time to reach every unit. Those who are impatient can head over to the Settings menu of your device to manually check for the update.
Before downloading the update make sure your device is charged up to 80 percent and is connected to a decent internet connection.
