The camera department has also been improved – 16+20MP rear camera setup with dual LED flash. The secondary camera has now 20MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture. There’s a new Portrait Mode which will smoothly blur the background without the need of cropping. Moreover, in low light conditions, the OnePlus 5T will switch over to the second camera and use the Intelligent Pixel tech – combining 4 pixels into one to reduce noise.
OnePlus 5T is now official!
Yesterday, at an event in Brooklyn OnePlus officially unveils their first bezel-less design flagship smartphone. Earlier this year in June, the company came up with a new flagship killer smartphone – OnePlus 5 – which was designed to undercut the likes of Apple’s iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S8.
Like the last year, the firm decided to produce an improved version of their recently launched flagship device – and this is the reason company came up with a hardware improved device – 5T. The design language of this newly launched device is same as that of Apple’s iPhone X, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8, Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2 and the likes.
The 5T came up with a new 6″ Optic AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. The ceramic fingerprint reader has now been moved to the rear side of the phone.
With 5T, OnePlus also showcase their first attempt to Face Unlock feature – which as company claims will unlock the device in under 0.4 seconds. It uses 100 facial features and works in the dark too.
Sadly there isn’t any change in the battery, it has the same 3,300mAh battery capacity. But the fast Dash Charge is also there.
