Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) Indian Units Started Receiving Android Nougat Update


Samsung has started pushing out the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system update to its Galaxy A7 (2017) units in India. The update is already rolling out to the units in Thailand and now the update has arrived in India as well. 

The update comes with software build number A720FXXU2BQI2 and weighs in at 1376.35MB in size.

The Nougat update will bring all the goodies of the new OS with it, aside from that the update also brings improvements in UI, quick setting buttons, improved notifications and AOD, newer settings menu, multi window experience, and Samsung Pass. The update will also bring the Dual Messenger function which will let you setup two accounts of the same social networking or IM app on the phone.

As usual, it’s an over-the-air update will roll out gradually so be patient. Meanwhile, you can head over to the Setting’s menu of your device and can manually check for the update.

Before downloading the update make sure your device is charged up to 80 percent, as the update is larger in size.
