OnePlus has started pushing out a new OxygenOS 4.1.7 update to its last years’ flagship smartphones – to 3 and 3T. The update along with few improvements, bug fixes and Android Security Patch for the month of August has also bundled along with it.
But the thing to see here is that company’s this year flagship smartphone OnePlus 5 is still running an older version of the Android security patch (July).

As per Google, Hangouts will be removed if you have never updated it on Play Store. To keep Hangouts, please update it prior to the upgrade
The update weighs in at 1.4GB, and will roll out to your units soon. And those who are impatient can head over to the source link provided to flash the update manually. As a reminder before downloading the update make sure your device is charged up to 80 percent and to provide any data loss make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi.
