Samsung has started pushing out the latest Android security update to its list of devices including Galaxy S5 – a 3-year-old flagship smartphone from the company, the Galaxy S6 series smartphones on AT&T and Nexus 6 units on AT&T are also getting the new security update.

  • AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge: G925AUCS6EQH1

  • AT&T Nexus 6: N6F27I
The update brings the Android security patch for the month of August to all the aforementioned devices.

As usual, its an over-the-air firmware update will roll out gradually so be patient. Meanwhile, you can head over to the Setting;s menu of your device and can manually check for the update.
Before downloading the update make sure your device is charged up to 50 percent and is connected to a decent internet connection.
