Couple of days back at an event in China Xiaomi officially unveiled Mi 5X which was rumoring a lot since last month. It’s a budget oriented smartphone which brings some decent specifications along with it. The design of this newly launched device is inspired from Apple’s iPhone – as you can see in the depicted pictures.
The Mi 5X comes with a 5.5-inch 1080 display screen with thin bezels and a dual rear camera setup on the rear side. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Camera section for this device includes a 12MP dual camera sensor, one for wider shots and one for telephoto use. The former one comes with focal length of 26mm while the later one with 55mm focal length.
To keep the lights of the device on company has embedded a 3080mAh of battery which is decent considering the efficient chipset.
As far as the pricing goes the 4GB/64GB model will cost you around CNY 1,499 (which according to latest transaction rates translates in to $220/€190). Gold, Black and Rose Gold are the color option to choose from.
