Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus on T-Mobile network rolling out with a new firmware update. Arriving in with software build number G950USQU1AQGA and G955USQU1AQGA respectively, the update brings Android Security fixes for the month of July to both the devices.
Aside from the latest security patch the update does brings few bug fixes and stability improvements. The update weighs around 136MB in size and is rolling out gradually to both the devices.T-Mobile also says that you should also expect a “UMTS 911 update.”
If you haven’t received the update yet don’t get panic it will take some time as it’s an OTA update. Meanwhile you can head over to Settings > System Update to manually check for the update.
As a reminder before downloading the update make sure your device is charged up to 50 percent and you are connected to a decent internet connection.
