Samsung Pushed Out July Security Update To It’s Galaxy S6, S6 Edge And Note 4 Smartphones

Samsung has recently pushed out the July Android Security Update to it’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones and now the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and Note 4 are getting this monthly security patch.

Aside from Security Fixes there aren’t any new feature that the update has bundled with.

The update comes with software build number G920IDVU3FQG1 for Galaxy S6, G920IDVU3FQG1 for S6 Edge and N910CXXS2DQG6 for Galaxy Note 4. The security patches are very useful to fix phones vulnerabilities.

It’s an OTA (over-the-air) update will take couple of days to reach every unit. Those who are impatient can head over to the Setting’s menu of their device to manually check for the update.

Before downloading the update make sure your device is charged up to 50 percent and you are connected to decent internet connection.
