Motorola Moto C Officially Launched In India

Last month Motorola officially unveiled it’s ultra budget android-powered smartphones – Moto C and Moto C Plus. Both the smartphones came up with MediaTek processor and Android Nougat v7.0 out of the box.

Today company officially launched Moto C in Indian market. The device is launched in Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold or Starry Black color variants.

The device is equipped with a 5 inch 854×480 pixel resolution display and is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. 

Camera section includes 5-megapixel rear facing and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. The device is backed by the 2,350mAh battery.

Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India & Country Head, Lenovo Mobile Biz Group says-

“According to the reports fewer people are expected to upgrade to smartphones because of concerns over price, need and ability to use. We see this as a huge opportunity for a brand like us to initiate the smartphone journey for feature phone users. As far as the pricing goes, the device will cost you around INR 5,999 and will be available from all leading stores across 100+ cities in the country.

No information on when the Plus variant of the device will be launched in the country.
