Huawei is prepping to unveil it’s second gen Nova series smartphone at an event which is scheduled to take place on May 26. Today just few days ahead of the event the device got leaked in Black color – image depicted above – and at the same time the phone has made an appearance on GFX Bench database.
A Huawei device with model number PIC-ALoo has been listed. The listing also reveals that the device will come with an octa-core processor (clocked at 1.71GHz) aided with 4GB of RAM and will ship with Android Nougat v7.0 pre-installed. The chipset on the board of Nova 2 will be HiSilicon Hi6250 SoC.
Camera section will include a 12MP / 5MP setup with support for recording FHD videos. The GFX listing points towards a singe rear camera setup while it was earlier confirmed that the Nova 2 will flaunt a dual-rear camera setup. Moreover the black color image which jut got leaked also shows the dual camera placed on the top right side and there’s also a fingerprint reader located in center.
It’s confirmed that there will be two variants of the Nova 2 smartphone – one with 5.2″ FullHD display and the Plus variant with a bigger screen.
All eyes are now on the event where company will put an end to all leaks and rumors.
