officially took wraps off of two new devices from it’s ‘ Xperia XA ‘ series- Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra. Both the devices comes with MediaTek Helio P20 processor, thin-bezels and great cameras.
Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra
The Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra
comes with 6″ screen with 1080p resolution (thin bezel), MediaTek Helio P20 chipset (up from P10) but we were baffled to see the 2,700mAh of battery.
The device is light in weight and charging is done over USB-C with Pump Express+ 2.0 support. As you can see in the below depicted picture the device will be available in different color options.
Sony Xperia XA1
The normal variant, Sony Xperia XA1 houses a 5″ display screen and bezels on sides are barely seen. Company calls this “borderless edge-to-edge screen”.
Camera section on this device includes a 23MP rear camera with 1/2.3″ sensor with a 24mm (equiv.) f/2.0 lens, Hybrid AF, and SteadyShot. And on the front there’s an 8MP selfie shooter with auto focus and steady shot.
Like the Ultra variant this one also powers a Helio P20 chipset with 3GB of RAM (the Ultra has 4GB) and a 2,300mAh of battery. USB Type-C is no where to be seen in this variant.
Price & Availability: No pricing details have been revealed as of now and the launch is scheduled for early Summer, both the XA1 and Ultra will be available in the different color options including – White, Black, Gold and (outside of Europe) Pink.
