HMD Global To Unveil Nokia 3, 5 And 6 Smartphones At MWC 2017

If you people remember last year HMD Global acquires the rights to the Nokia brand name is now planning to unveil 4 new smartphones at Mobile Web Congress which is scheduled to take place in Barcelona later on this month. In the beginning of the year , the Finnish manufacture launched Nokia 6 handset in China which was said to make it’s first public appearance in the first half of 2017. Along with Nokia 6, a pair of new devices namely Nokia 3 and 5 will also debut at MWC 2017.

In terms of technical specifications, Nokia 6 features a full HD, 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 system-on-chip, 4GB of RAM, and 16-megapixel primary camera, the other two will ratchet down the specs to hit lower price points.

The Nokia 5, as per the latest rumors suggests, will maintain it’s larger sibling’s chipset but will flaunt a 5.2″ 720p display, 2GB of RAM and 12MP rear camera sensor.

The Nokia 3 will feature a HD display of screen size 5.2 or 5.3-inch, a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Camera section will include a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls.

Nokia 3, the entry level Android, will initially go for €149.

Along with this series of smartphones a modern version of a classic Nokia 3310 is also likely to be seen at a price of just €59. HMD Global is holding its launch event on February 26 in Barcelona.
