Last year Xiaomi officially unveils Redmi Note 4, at that time the handset was only available for purchase in it’s homeland. And now the device is all set to debut in India and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting tomorrow. An unknown Amazon seller is already selling the device in the country for ₹21,491 for 16 GB variant and ₹27,055 for 64 GB variant.
As a flashback the device features a 5.5-inch full HD display and like it’s predecessor it comes in two variants : standard and high-end. The standard variant comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, while the high-end variant comes with 3GB of RAM and a whooping 64GB of storage.
Both the variants are powered by a MediaTeks’ Deca-Core Helio X20 Soc which is clocked up to 2.1GHz and packs in a 4,100mAh battery. On the rear side there’s a 13-mega pixel camera snapper just above the fingerprint sensor and on the front side there’s a 5-mega pixel camera for taking beautiful selfies.
The devices measure in at 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs in at around 175g. It comes with Android Marshmallow pre-installed which is based on Xiaomis’ MIUI 8. Featuring metal unibody design, the phone is available in Silver, Gold, and Dark grey color options.
Coming to the price Redmi Note 4 in China, it carries a price tag of RMB 899 (around ₹9,000 , $135) for the 16GB model and RMB 1199 (around ₹12,000 , $180) for the 64GB one.
