Google Pushed Out The January Security Update For It's Pixel And Nexus Devices

Google pushed out the January security patch for it's Pixel and supported Nexus devices. Earlier it was reported that the giant search engine will roll out the security update in early days of January and keeping it's words today company rolled out the update.

The factory images for Android 7.1.1 Nougat are now available for download via Google's developers website. Pixel, Pixel XL, and Pixel C will surely get this update and the Nexus devices which will get this update are Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus Player and Nexus 9 (Wi-Fi).

It's an OTA (over-the-air) update so will take time to receive to your device, but as the factory images are also available you can flash it manually also.
