Samsung has officially confirmed that they will begin the long-awaited Android Nougat update for it's Galaxy S7/S7 edge devices sometime next month. It's been a month since the update is under beta testing, and today the South Korea giant has announced that it would do its best “to distribute the official version in January as soon as possible.”
Along with this, Samsung has also announced that the Nougat beta program for both the aforementioned devices will end on December 30, 2016. What this means is that there will be no more updates for those who are in beta program and there will be no individual feedback related to “Error report” and “Suggestion.”
As of now nothing is confirmed that the update will be the Android Nougat version 7.1.1 or 7.0, but we expect the former version.
There you have it people, next year Samsung will push out the Android Nougat update on two of it's devices.
