Earlier this year at I/0 2016 event Google announced Home, answer to Amazon's echo, although Amazon was the first to had a breakout hit. Google shamelessly copied the concept and comes up with a new pear-shaped Home speaker.
We already know Google is holding a hardware event on October 4 where the search giant is expected to launch a range of new devices including the Google Home. A new report from Android Police revealed the pricing details of the Home assistant, the device is said to be priced at $129, which is lower in comparison to Amazon's Echo which will set you back at $179. Although the Echo Dot 2nd gen is coming next month which is expected to cost only $50 but the only caveat is that it needs an external speaker for playing music.
The device is expected to be announced at Google's Oct 4 event where company will announce range of hardware devices including pair of Pixel Smartphones, Chromecast Ultra and more!
