TP-Link is basically known for it’s networking products is a contender in the smartphone market which has already announced three android smartphones namely the Neffos C5, C5L and C5 Max. And today at IFA 2016 electronic show company announced couple of new smartphones: Neffos X1 and X1 Max. The price of the former one is €199 and €249 is for the latter one.
For the time being we don’t know when and where these devices will be launched, TP-Link has chosen the best stage to unveil their new products, we expect both these devices to debut sometime in fourth quarter of the year.
“The new Neffos X Series smartphones are the perfect combination of smart technology and stylish design. They bring unparalleled value to our customers by prioritizing features that help them stay closer to everything and everyone around them,” said TP-Link co-founder and chairman Jeffrey Chao.
Both the devices powers a octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory (expandable up to 128GB). It’s also came to hear that there will be 2GB and 3GB RAM options as well, price will vary according to configuration.
Also, both these new Neffos X smartphones houses same camera configurations, a 13-megapixel Sony camera sensor on the read side which eature backside illumination, 5P lens, as well as phase-detection autofocus of just 0.2 seconds. There’s a f/2.0 aperture along with a dual-tone LED flash. And on the front side there’s a 5-megapixel sensor for taking beautiful selfies.
The Neffos X1 Max, as the name suggests houses a larger display , 5.5-inch IPS full HD (1080p) display, where as the Neffos X1 sports a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display. Both the devices features edge-to-edge displays with a 76% screen-to-body ratio.
The X1 model is equipped with a 2,250mAh battery whereas the max variant packs a 3,000mAh battery.
