Xiaomi Sold Over 1.7 Million Units Of Its Redmi Note 3 Since March

Xiaomi is a China-based smartphone juggernaut which is producing devices much better than you may possibly think. In earlier days when we think of buying a new phone, the name "Xiaomi" probably doesn't come to mind. But now when we do get to talk about Xiaomi's handsets the story usually revolves around how much you get for so little.

Back in 2010 company has commenced, and since then they are doing a really good job. In 2015 Xiaomi managed to sold over 70.8 million units which was countable for almost 5 percent of the smartphone global market share. Xiaomi has nearly zero presence in the Western part of the world and despite of that they have managed the 5th position in the largest smartphone maker in 2015.

Xiaomi has not been selling as many devices as Huawei, Vivo or OPPO in China lately, but still company manages to keep it's top spot. 

Xiaomi has started 2016 with the release of Redmi Note 3 which was unveiled in China back in 2o15. And there are two models of this device the China model was launched with MediaTek Helio X10 processor and in India the device is launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor.

As per the latest report from IDC suggests, Xiaomi has managed to sell over 1.75 million units of it's Redmi Note 3 device since March - this is only five months until now. “Redmi Note 3 is the single highest-shipped smartphone ever in the history of India’s online market in any given quarter,” said iDC.
