Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Goes Official - Powers Deca-Core Helio X20 SoC, 64GB Storage, 5.5" Display, 4100mAh Battery


From past month we've been seeing a lot of leaked pics and specs of the Xiaomi's next gen Redmi Note series, today Xiaomi officially put a stop to all rumors and officially unveiled Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

The device features a 5.5-inch full HD display and like it's predecessor it also comes in two variants : standard and high-end. The standard variant comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, while the high-end variant comes with 3GB of RAM and a whooping 64GB of storage.

Both the variants are powered by a MediaTeks' Deca-Core Helio X20 Soc which is clocked up to 2.1GHz and packs in a 4,100mAh battery. On the rear side there's a 13-mega pixel camera snapper just above the fingerprint sensor and on the front side there's a 5-mega pixel camera for taking beautiful selfies.

The devices measure in at 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs in at around 175g. It comes with Android Marshmallow pre-installed which is based on Xiaomis' MIUI 8. Featuring metal unibody design, the phone is available in Silver, Gold, and Dark grey color options.

Price & Availability: As for the price, the standard variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a price tag of RMB 899 (around $135) and RMB 1199 (around $180) for the high-end variant -64GB one. The device will be up for purchase starting tomorrow (August 26) from  
Mi.com, Mi Home stores and through China Mobile’s online and offline channels. Currently there's no word that the when the device will leave it's homeland (China).
