Back in July, BlackBerry officially unveiled it’s second android-powered smartphone dubbed as – BlackBerry DTEK50. BlackBerry touted the device as “the world’s most secure Android smartphone”. It is the thinnest smartphone that the company has ever produced (just 7.4mm thick).
The device has already make it’s appearance in Canada and is currently available for $429 from ShopBlackBerry. BlackBerry claimed that the device will be available from carriers in the coming weeks, the carriers includes Rogers, Bell, Telus, Wind Mobile, Videotron, and SaskTel.
Among these carriers it seems Wind Mobile will be the first to announce the DTEK50 as the device is listed as ” Coming soon ” on their website. That is about as vague as you can get – no pricing and availability details have been revealed yet.
