In the beginning of this year HTC announced a trio of mid-range smartphones
namely Desire 825, 630 and 530 with a speckled back design. We all know 2015 wasn’t a great year for HTC, that’s why they chose to make mid-range android smartphones which might boost their sales.
HTC Desire 530 is already available in other parts of the world for several months and lately the device lands US. The device is already available on T-Mobile and today it landed on Verizon too. And starting August 9 the device will be available for purchase from Verizon sores across the country (US).
For time being, Verizon is selling the HTC Desire 530 only in blue color, you can either pay $144 outright or can choose by paying installments ($6 per month for 24 months).
The device has an interesting speckled back design but it certainly not a powerful device- considering the price it features some decent specs. The device is equipped with a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1 GHz paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and16 GB of expandable storage space, and there’s also a 2200 mAh battery to keep the lights on.
Camera section includes an 8 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera, and device runs on the top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense UI.
