Last month a new Xperia device with model number F8331 was leaked and now a new set of renders has leaked which appears to be the same device that leaked earlier. As per the new leak from the below source suggests this alleged device will go by the name of the Xperia XR which could be company’s flagship device of this year.
We are just a month ahead of world’s leading show of consumer electronics- IFA which takes place annually in Berlin. Sony lately confirmed that they are hosting a press conference on September 1 but didn’t mention anything about what they gonna reveal. We have high hopes that we might see a new flagship device on that day.
Just set of images have been surfaced, no specification details have came through, but since the renders appears to be of the F8331 phone that leaked last month, the specs would be same as that of last leak, which is rumored to feature 4K video recording for both front and rear cameras (if it’s true than this would be the first device to feature such thing).
The device might feature a 5.1″ or 5.3″ Full HD display screen along with Snapdragon 820 chipset which would come paired with an Adreno 530 GPU for the graphics processing. 3GB of RRAM, 13MP front-facing camera snapper, and a USB Type-C also rumored to be on the specs list. The device is suggested to measure in at 146.4 x 71.9 x 8.1mm.
All other details are missing for the time being, we hope as the date gets closer we’ll get to know more about this device.
