Xiaomi Redmi Pro finally goes official. As scheduled, Xiaomi today at an even in China unveiled a new smartphone which according to company is "most powerful Redmi ever". The device is fueled with a Mediatek's deca-core Helio X25 chipset with Mali-T880 GPU and houses a 5.5-inch full HD OLED display.
Memory section of Redmi Pro includes 3GB of RAM / 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of built in storage. The device also packs a huge battery of 4050mAh.
Camera section will include a rear dual camera setup- consisting a 13MP main unit and 5MP depth sensor- which according to company will produce DSLR-quality bokeh effects. And on the front side there's a 5MP selfie snapper.
On the front side there's high-quality ceramic button which is basically the fingerprint sensor, it's clean and elegant and also offers USB-C connectivity. The device measures in at 151.5 x 76.2 x 8.15mm and weighs in at 174g. Support for dual-SIM and VoLTE is also there.
Price & Availability: As far as the price and availability is concern, the pro version of Redmi Pro will set you back at RMB 1,499 which according to current transaction rates translates to around $225 and for this amount you'll get a variant with Helio X20 SoC, 3GB RAM, and 32GB storage. The variant with Helio X25 chipset, 3GB RAM, and 64GB storage will cost you RMB 1,699 (around $255). And the high-end model with Helio X25, 4GB RAM, and 128GB memory will set you back RMB 1,999 (around $300).
