Japan got it's first Android One smartphone dubbed as Sharp Aquous 507SH. No price details have been revealed yet but it's said that it will be a compact mid-range device. The device will never leave Japan although it's a solid alternative to the Nexus 5X.
The Sharp Aquos 507SH is equipped with a 5-inch IGZO LCD display with a resolution of 720p. Both rear and front are covered with rounded 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4. The device measures in at142 x 71 x 8.8mm and weighs 135g.
This Android One phone is dust and water resistant with IP58 rating, this means it can stay longer than 30 minutes in water. The device packs a big battery 3,010mAh.
The device is powered by a Octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, and will soon be updated to Android Nougat.
Camera section includes a 13MP rear facing snapper which can record video up to 1080p resolution and on the front there's a 5MP seflie cam.
