Today at an event in China Gionee officially announced two new smartphones namely- Gionee M6 & M6 Plus successor to last year's M5 & M5 Plus. Both the devices clads an all-metal body and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system on the top of Amigo 3.5 UI.
Now lets talk about the technical specifications, the M6 houses a 5.5" AMOLED display screen (with full HD 1920 x 1080p resolution) while the M6 Plus sports a higher display of 6" with same resolution. Both are powered by 2GHz Helio P10 octa-core processor and features a dedicated security chip that offers hardware level encryption.
On the back of there's a 16MP camera snapper with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash and on the front there's a 8MP snapper for selfies on Gionee M6 Plus. The catchy or we can say the USP of both the devices are their batteries. M6 is backed by a 5,000mAh of non-removable battery and the M6 plus sports a humongous 6,020mAh of battery.
Both the devices comes with fast charging, the M6 is accompanied with a 9V/2A power adapter while the M6 Plus come with a 12v/2A power adapter.
Memory section includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card. 128GB variant is also an option for both the devices.
There's also a fingerprint sensor located on the front side on the oval shaped physical button. Both will go on sale in August, M6 will be available from August 6th and the larger M6 Plus from August 12th.
